Can Readwalk read PDFs out loud?
Yes. Open a PDF from Files or share it from Mail, Safari or any app, and Readwalk reads it aloud, highlighting each word as it goes.
Does it read web articles?
Yes. Paste a link or tap Share > Readwalk in Safari or any news app. Readwalk pulls out the article text, skipping menus and footers, and reads it to you.
Can it read a printed book or paper document?
Yes. Scan pages with your iPhone camera. Readwalk recognizes the text and reads it aloud.
Does Readwalk keep reading when my phone is locked?
Yes. Playback continues in your pocket with the screen off, with play, pause and skip on the lock screen and your headphones.
Does it work offline?
Readwalk's Standard voices run on your iPhone, so they work without a connection and are unlimited. The more lifelike Studio voices need an internet connection.
