Readwalk is a lower-cost alternative to Speechify for iPhone: unlimited listening in natural voices for $39.99 a year, versus $139.99 a year for Speechify Premium on the App Store. Speechify does more (desktop and Android apps, a browser extension, many languages, celebrity voices). Readwalk does one thing: reads your articles, PDFs and pages aloud on iPhone, simply and affordably.
Prices as listed in October 2026. Check each app's App Store page for current pricing.
